Microsoft released Windows 8 on 26 October 2012. The Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 users can upgrade to Windows 8 for a mere $39.99. Also, people who bought their PC after 02 June 2012 can upgrade for $14.99 which is undoubtedly a very low amount. But you must try Windows 8 before you buy it and we will tell you how.

Windows 8 is available as a trial download for anyone for 90 days. After 90 days you will not be able to upgrade it. You will need to buy the new Windows 8 or you will have to install your original Windows which you have now and then upgrade it to Windows 8 for the above given prices.
How To Download Windows 8 :1. Visit Windows 8 Evaluation page for Developers. It’s not only limited to developers and we all can download it. 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose the version of Windows 8 you want to download.
3. Now you will be asked to sign-in with a Microsoft account. Microsoft account is any account ending with @hotmail, @live, @outlook.
4. After the login you will be asked to fill some information like your First and Last name, Email Address, Country, etc. As soon as you submit the form your download will be started.
