Facebook

Facebook does not natively provide a way to see who unfriended you on Facebook. Even if you keep a close eye on your friend list count and your friends, you cannot be sure of knowing if someone unfriended you, and even if you find it out, you cannot be sure who was the one. But there are many extensions and scripts for all the major web browsers that can come handy and can suffice. One of the best among them is Unfriend Alerts.

Let’s say you kept a count of the number of friends you had, you see a drop in that count, what will you do? Either you will start searching the friends you have now and will try to figure out the friends who unfriended you, or you will visit every friend’s profile and see if both of you are still friends.

Now every time you login to Facebook, Unfriend Alerts will automatically check if all the friends you had are still friends. If someone goes missing it will show you a nice popup and also list all the friends together who unfriended you. Moreover, you can also perform a manual check by clicking on the Unfriend Alerts symbol in the top right and then clicking the “Check All” button. Unfriend Alerts also performs an automatic check after every hour, so that you can come to know whenever someone unfriends you on Facebook.

Verdict
Unfriend Alerts is a nice extension that lets you see who unfriended you on Facebook. There are many features that Facebook needs to provide natively, like the unfriend feature, selecting all your Facebook friends for page and event invitation, posting Birthday wishes on your friends walls automatically and many others. But may be Facebook wants to protect relationships and that is why Facebook does not notifies you when someone unfriends you.
