7 Different Ways of Using Google Reverse Image Search

Google reverse image search is a feature that lets you find visually similar images, for the image you upload or give the URL of. But this feature can do a lot of wonders for you, since finding similar images can have endless uses. 1. Finding Artists of Creative Works

If you are an art lover and you find a painting that you want to buy or you want to know about the artist of, you can just do a reverse image search on Google with the photograph of the painting. Not only the artist, you can also find the price and the place where you can buy it.

2. Finding Products You Have an Image of

Sometimes we see an image of a product but we don’t know what it’s called and where we can buy it. This is where Google reverse image search can give you the benefit. Just perform a reverse image search on Google and you will find all the information of it along with the places where you can buy it.

3. Getting a Copy of an Image/Wallpaper in Higher Resolution

Sometimes we have some low resolution images for which we need to get high resolution prints. Google reverse image search comes handy in those situations too. You can perform a reverse image search with the lower resolution image, and Google will display all the visually similar images, and there’s a good probability that you will get the same images in higher resolutions.

Sometimes we find images on social networking sites or some other websites that are watermarked. It is not necessary that they were watermarked by the creator of the image. There can be a source file which was uploaded by the creator without any watermarking. And if you know how to do a reverse image search, you can find that file easily.

7. Finding Profiles on Social Networking Websites

So you have found someone on one of the social network, and you want to find all of their profiles on other networks too. Just do a reverse image search with their profile picture, if you get multiple results, there are chances that the person has profiles on other social networks too. This technique can also be used to spot fake profiles.
