How To Install Non Market Apps On Any Android Device

Every Android user uses “Play Store” to download and install apps on their Android device. The installation is quite easy and just takes a tap on the install button, but it’s not the same when installing apps from sources other than the “Play Store”.

This is because your Android device is set to block apps installation from unknown sources. This is to maintain security and to prevent any virus or threat coming from installation of applications from unknown sources. But there’s an easy way to enable installation of non market apps.

Enabling Installation From Unknown Sources

Removing this restriction is not difficult at all. Just go to your device’s “Settings” menu, then navigate to “Security“, and then check the box that says “Allow installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store”.

NOTE The steps are for a Samsung device, your device may have a slightly different way of doing it.
